Activities in the Classroom/Classroom Assignments

Taking into consideration the different types of people and the different types of intelligences, the best method of educating these people is to specialize, not generalize. Instead of telling kids to be well rounded, activities and assignments should be made to focus on the specific student’s intelligences. By specializing the learner’s talents, the learner can become much stronger in his already well-endowed skill. By forcing the people to become “well-rounded”, we are shunning the well developed skill and fighting a futile battle by trying to make the less-developed skills more potent. By catering to the individual’s intelligences and needs and by acquiring specialists who focus on those intelligences, students can then channel their brilliance into one specific strong outlet, producing a much more fruitful response.

Graduation Requirements

The credit system must be abolished immediately. By establishing this sort of structure, students are forced along a path they might not want to take. Taking into account that the above methods of teaching are put into motion, the current graduation system would be obsolete. They should assess the student individually and another specialist that the student has not been acquainted with should perform that assessment. The assessment will be based on the student’s intelligences and will determine his readiness for college, university or another place of higher education of intelligence mastery.
